The Art of Pivoting: My Journey to Finding Joy

Hi there, it's me, Jes, and today I want to talk about the art of pivoting in life. This morning was a prime example of how important it is to be able to pivot when things don't go according to plan. I had pre-recorded an episode with my cousin, but my phone, which had the recording on it, was missing. I also realized that my Bible app, which I use for my morning Bible study and motivation, was also on that phone.

Initially, I was frustrated and upset that my plans had been derailed, but I quickly realized that I needed to adjust my mindset. I reminded myself that I didn't need the app to connect with God and readjusted my focus. I took some time to meditate and praise Jesus without any external aids. It was a reminder that sometimes we have to be flexible and pivot in life, even when it's not easy.

Yesterday, I also had to pivot away from some negative energy. In the past, I used to be quick to match negative energy, but I have learned that it's not the way to go. It's important to pivot your emotions and energy towards positivity and happiness. I used to be the type of person who would throw hands and have a bad attitude. But now, I try to be the heart instead of the ass, as I like to say. It's a reminder that we all have to work on ourselves and pivot towards positivity and love.

Pivoting is not just about adjusting your actions, but also your thoughts and emotions. It's about being able to play defense with the devil and not letting him distract you from your goals and purpose in life. It's about being able to pivot towards Jesus and positivity, even when things are tough. It's about being able to pivot away from gossip, negative energy, and distractions.

In life, we have to be ready to pivot when things don't go according to plan. We have to be able to adjust our mindset and emotions towards positivity and love. It's important to remember that God has a plan for our lives, and we have to stay focused on him. I hope this reminder to pivot towards positivity and love helps you in your own life. Remember, where there is a will, there is a way, and we can always pivot towards positivity and happiness.
