Fighting Off the Devil: Overcoming Doubt and Anxiety

today I want to talk to you about something that has been weighing heavily on my heart lately: fighting off the devil. Yes, that's right, I said it! And no, I'm not crazy. Hear me out.

Now, if you're anything like me, you know that God has a plan for your life. And when God has a plan for your life, you know that the devil is working overtime to hinder your success. He's like that annoying coworker that always seems to be hovering over your shoulder, telling you that you're not good enough, that you'll never succeed, that you're just not cut out for this.

But here's the thing: the devil is a liar. And we're not going to let him win. We're not going to let him get in our heads and tell us what we can't do. We're not going to let him stop us from achieving the things that God has already prepared for us.

So, how do we fight off the devil? Well, for starters, we need to stay focused on God. We need to trust in His plan for our lives and believe that He has already paved the way for us. We need to remind ourselves that He will not allow us to fall, that He has already built our mansions, paid our bills, and prepared a feast for us.

But we also need to focus on ourselves. We need to let go of the negativity, the anxiety, the depression, and the people around us who don't support us. We need to stop comparing ourselves to others and start focusing on our own journey.

Now, I know that's easier said than done. The devil is sneaky, and he knows just how to get under our skin. He'll use our doubts and insecurities against us, telling us that we're not good enough, that we'll never make it.

But here's the good news: we have the power to fight back. We have the power to break free from the naysayer, the doubt, and the anxiety. We have the power to push through to where we want to be.

It won't be easy, but it's worth it. We need to remember that God has given us everything we need to succeed. We have the strength, the talent, and the resources to overcome any obstacle.

And when we do overcome those obstacles, when we do achieve our goals, that's when we'll truly understand the joy and peace that comes from putting in the work. We'll understand the importance of enjoying the process, of taking the time to appreciate the journey.

So, let's fight off the devil together. Let's stay focused on God and on ourselves. Let's push through the doubt, the anxiety, and the self-doubt. And let's remind ourselves every day that we have everything we need to succeed. Amen.
