My Testimony To Embracing My Gifts and Living My Dreams

Reflecting on the last few months, I can only be grateful to God for everything He has allowed me to accomplish. When I started this journey, my only aim was to complete the project and not measure my success against the world's standards. The journey wasn't about competing with others but about growing as an individual.

I faced my fears and let go of my insecurities, which were a result of my trauma and societal beliefs. I learned to listen to others and embrace their truth, even if it didn't align with mine. I practiced forgiveness and loved people for who they truly are, instead of dwelling on their mistakes.

One of my biggest fears was my voice and singing. My confidence was low, but I realized that it was due to the negative voices in my head that were a result of naysayers in my life. I started to believe the people I looked up to more than God. But God had given me the gift of storytelling and wanted me to use it. I had been hindering my own success and joy by believing those who told me I wasn't good enough.

It's important to remember that God gives us dreams for a reason. These dreams are not just what we dream of while we sleep but the desires in our hearts. He places these desires there because he knows we truly believe in Him to achieve them.

As we step into 2023, I want to encourage you to believe in yourself and know that God will bless you. If He can do it for me, He can definitely do it for you too.

I want to extend my gratitude to everyone who has supported me, including my featured guests, my mentor David Tutera, my pastor Bishop Hezekiah Walker, spiritual advisor Marianne Williamson, RazB from B2K, my DTE family, my family and friends. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. Now, it's time to edit and make it all come together.
