Cheat Codes to Entrepreneurship

As a serial entrepreneur, today I will be dropping some gems on cheat codes to entrepreneurship. I have been involved in several business ventures, including a nonprofit called Victims2Victory, MobStyles,MeSexual, OMA Black National Committee and Nana’s. I’ve produced my own music, films, plays and documentary. Through my experiences, I have learned a few things that I would like to share with you.

One of the most important things I have found as an entrepreneur is the need to be cost-effective. I have found that Squarespace is a fantastic tool for building websites. It is user-friendly, and you can create a beautiful website all by yourself. It has drop-in boxes, making it easy to set up and edit. I have used Squarespace for Victims2Victory since 2012 and have built over 100 websites between myself and helping others.

When it comes to grants, I recommend Grantwatch.com. It has a user-friendly interface, and you can see what grants are available before you pay for a monthly subscription. However, when individuals hire me I do all this leg work for them. Having access to so many grants can be overwhelming and time consuming but I truly enjoy grant hunting.

Another tool that I have found useful is placeit.net. It is similar to Canva, but I like it better. It has video editing capabilities, and you can mock up T-shirts and other merchandise. Speaking of merchandise, I suggest using printful for print-on-demand products. You can add the products to your website and have the orders shipped directly to the customer. It's free advertising, and you don't have to worry about storing products in your home.

Lastly, don't sleep on AI programs like Chat GPT for blog creation. It is excellent for people like me who are dyslexic and want their posts to be grammatically correct. It doesn't write everything for you, but it helps with format and layout.

I hope these cheat codes to entrepreneurship help you get started or improve your existing business. Remember, living to live, not living to die, and working is possible with the right tools and resources.

Not only are these tools cost-effective and time-saving, but they also play a crucial role in maintaining good mental health as an entrepreneur. As someone who juggles several businesses and brands, I know firsthand the stresses and pressures that come with entrepreneurship. The sheer amount of work can be overwhelming, especially when you're working on everything by yourself.

Using tools like Squarespace, Grantwatch, placeit.net, printful, and Chat GPT can help you save time and money that you would otherwise spend on hiring a team of people to do these tasks for you. As a small entrepreneur, having access to these tools allows you to focus on the most important aspects of your business and gives you the freedom to pursue your passions and dreams.

For parents who work from home or individuals looking to put more time into pursuing their dreams, these tools provide a level of convenience that is unparalleled. You can work from anywhere and at any time, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while still being productive.

These tools also help creatives become more business-oriented, as it can be challenging to switch between the creative and business mindsets. With the help of AI programs like Chat GPT, creatives can focus on their creative work while the AI takes care of the grammatical and formatting aspects of their work.

Lastly, these tools are especially helpful for individuals with disabilities, like dyslexia. With AI tools, they can produce high-quality work without worrying about spelling or grammatical errors, allowing them to get their dream job and not feel held back by their disability.

In conclusion, using these tools is not only cost-effective and time-saving, but it also allows entrepreneurs to maintain good mental health and focus on the most important aspects of their business. These tools provide a level of convenience that is unmatched, allowing you to work from anywhere and at any time. So go ahead and use these tools to make your entrepreneurial journey a little bit easier!
